William W. Cummings

William W. Cummings, age 83 of Indianapolis passed away February 26th, 2022.

He was born December 1st, 1938 to the late Jesse and Omadean (Hart) Cummings.

William married Sharon A. Cummings January 26th, 1968 and she survives.

In addition to his wife Sharon Cummings he is also survived by his sons David (Kim) Cummings of Mooresville, Ricky (Diana) Cummings of Indianapolis, Gregory (Jennie) Cummings of Mooresville; daughters Angela Meyers of Indianapolis, and Kimberly Thorsen of Whitestown; siblings Howard (June) Cummings, Deloris Bowman, Florence Dunkin, Judy (Harold) Whitaker, Sherrie Sandy, Stanley (Bev) Cummings, Linda Sample; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his stepsons Robert Risk and Steven Risk; grandson Justin Meyers; brothers Richard Cummings, Robert Cummings, Rex Cummings, Donald Cummings, Ronald Cummings; sisters Betty Barnes, Patty Coons.

Funeral services for William will be held at Noon Friday, March 4th, 2022 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday March 3rd, 2022 at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
