Thelma Carol (Strother) Magness

Thelma Carol Rubeck Magness, age 82, passed away June 13th, 2026.

She was born October 7th, 1943 to the late Joseph Strother and Catherine (Boswell) Strother-Tharp.

Carol married Irven L. Rubeck June 25th, 1965 and he preceded her in death August 17th, 1997. She them married Bobbie L. Magness October 26th, 2002 and he preceded her in death May 11th, 2018.

She is survived by her daughters Dana (Jim) Shaw, Jana (Chuck) Haywood, Barbara (John) Hall, Andrea (Fred) Magness; sister-in-law Geraldine Rubeck; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Carol will be held Friday, June 19th  2026 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
