Steven L. Smith

Steven L. Smith, age 73, of Cloverdale passed away May 13th, 2026.

He was born on September 30th, 1952, to the late David and Geneva (Hatfield) Smith.

Steven married Vickie (Harris) Smith on January 23rd, 1997, and she survives.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children Steven G. Smith, Shelby L. (Richard) Hubbard, Shawn (Briana) Smith, Jourdan Smith, Erica Kendall; siblings Darlene Sierp, Ruth Ventaroso, Eric Smith, Meltina Staples, Roberta Wettington; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Heather Kendall; siblings Bobby, Sharon, Skippy, Pam, Terry, and Melvin.

Visitation for Steven will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday May 20th, 2026, at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net
