Ruth I. Duncan

                Ruth I. Duncan, age 86 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.  She was born in Laird, Colorado to the late Harold O. and Fern E.(Dunagan)Prentice.  She married Clyde Lee Paris June of 1951 and preceded her in death.  She then married William Robert Duncan December of 1966 and preceded her in death.  She was a registered nurse for Owen County Schools for over twenty years and a member of the Millgrove Methodist Church.

                She is survived by her children, Pamela J. Hodges and husband Kenneth, Kathie Bigos and husband Jerry, and Warren P. Duncan and wife Samantha.  10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren, and sister in law Juanita White Prentice. 

                In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her daughters Mary Fern Paris, and Regina Paris Suttle.  Son, Garold Lee Paris, and grandson William Arthur Paris.  Siblings Robert Prentice, and Betty Jane Shumaker. 

                Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at 12:00pm, Millgrove Methodist Church.  Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time at the church.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.  In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research, BrightFocus Foundation, 22512 Gateway Center Drive Clarksburg, MD 20871
