Richard Warner Obituary

Richard “Dick” Warner, 68 of Poland, went to be with the Lord do to an extended illness, January 12th, 2018.

Dick was born in Anderson, IN, March 11th, 1949 to Keith and Rosemary (Cummins) Warner.

He Married Connie Allen November 21st, 1992 and she survives.

Dick was retired from Inland Fisher Guide in Anderson and retired from the Eastside Church of God and Alexandria Church of God. He was also a member of the Anderson and Alexandria Bowling Leagues and the Kilbuck Golf League. He was trustee of Highland Lakeview Association and Deacon of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. His hobbies included ultralights, sailing, biking, woodworking, and Kayaking.

Dick’s family would like to give a special thank you to all the members of Kindred Hospice for their care throughout Dick’s illness.

He is also survived by his Father residing in Florida; Sons Shawn Warner (wife Heather) of Bellingham, Washington, Cory Warner (Dawn) of Summitville, Indiana; grandchildren Emma, Sophie, Chloe, and Ivan; two Step children, and seven step grandchildren. Brothers Ron Warner of Anderson IN, and David Warner (Chris)of Florida.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral Services for Dick will be 1:00 pm Thursday January 18th, 2018 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Friends and Family are invited to gather from 11:00 am until the service time Thursday. Private burial will be at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to ASPCA at aspca.org

Dick was a beautiful light that reflected God’s love to all he met.
