Rex R. Winings

               Rex R. Winings, age 74 of Cloverdale, passed away January 22, 2021.  He was born May 12th, 1946 in Indianapolis to the late Sterling and Marian (Dunn)Winings.  He married Ruth (Black)Winings June 25th, 1965 and she survives.  He was a self-made mechanic and over his years he has worked for Kenworth, Cambell’s 66 Express, Indy West 76 Truck Plaza, McCullough’s Garage, and was the co-owner of Island Sun Tan Center.  He retired from Conway Central Express as a diesel technician in 2013.

                In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Scott Winings and wife Jan.  Lori Winings, and Matt Winings and husband Stephen.  Grandchildren Jesseca(Reed) Bradbury, Andrea(Khalil) Harrison, Julie(Jacob) Collenbaugh, Brian(Courtney) Winings, and Noah Winings.  Great-Grandchildren, Lyra, Hazel, Maeve, and Rex.  Also, his siblings Anna(Michael) Godsey, and Tom Winings.    He was also preceded in his death by his brothers Sterling R. Winings Jr., and Arthur E. Winings.
