Marie Irene Goss

Marie Irene Goss, age 91 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 4th, 2020.  She was born December 16th, 1928 in Atkinsonville, Indiana to the late Frank and Myrle (Jordan)Freeman.  She married Don Goss on March 22nd, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1988.  She was a devoted Mother, and Grandmother.  She was the former owner of Goss Oil Co. and worked in the local bank.

She is survived by her sons Gary Goss and wife Julie, and Kerman Goss and wife Tish.  Five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.  Brothers Floyd Freeman and wife Shirley, and Gerald Freeman and wife Carolyn. 

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother “Bud” Freeman, and grandson Mitch Warner and Michael Goss.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at 3:00pm.  Visitation will be from 12:00pm until service time with burial following at Cloverdale Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
