Linda L. (Salsman) Dorsett

Linda L. Dorsett, age 83 of Greencastle, went to be with the Lord Monday February 20th, 2023. She was born December 20th, 1939 in Belle Union to the late Kenneth and Lola (Parker) Salsman.

She married Ronald Dorsett June 1st, 1957 and he preceded her in death June 27th, 2020.  Linda drove a school bus for South Putnam Community Schools for 33 years.  She was a member of the Union Valley Baptist Church. 

 Linda is survived by her children Twila(Curt) Cummings, Bruce(Julie) Dorsett, Bradley(Melissa) Dorsett, and Travis(Tisha) Dorsett; sister Juanita Hacker; Twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents he is preceded in death by her great granddaughter Trinity Dorsett.

 Visitation will be Thursday February 23rd, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm with burial following at the Walnut Chapel Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net
