Lewis Dunbar Obituary

Lewis E. Dunbar, 87 of Poland went to be with the Lord, February 16, 2018.

Born July 7th, 1930 to the late Charles and Blanche (Anderson) Dunbar.

Lewis married Evelyn Uffman January 5th, 1980 she preceded him in death in 2010.

He is also preceded in death by his son Floyd Newby; sister Esie Meagher; and son-in-law Les Schubert.

Lewis is survived by his daughters Sharon L. Newby, Gwen Schubert, Brenda Shirrell; sons Ronald W. Dunbar, Lloyd Newby, Richard L. Dunbar and wife Debbie, Mark Newby and wife Melissa, Philip Dunbar, Paul A. Newby and his wife Willa; nieces Carol Sanders, Betty Cambell; nephew Bob Meagher; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Lewis will be Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at Whitaker Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, February 23rd, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
