Katherine Sue Tarantino

                Katherine S. Tarantino, age 63 of Danville, passed away Thursday, December 9th, 2021 with her family by her side.  She was born November 21st, 1958 in Greencastle to the late Harvey and Florence “Peggy” Ford.  She was a longtime nurse, and served her country in the United States Marines Corps.

                Kathy was preceded in death by her son, James Albert Tarantino Jr., and her sister Andrea Albright. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Chandler and husband Walter, and Alison Troyer and husband Philip. She was a loving 'Mamaw' to four grandchildren, Logan & Taylor Chandler, Avery & Andrew Troyer. Her siblings Frances Miller and her husband Bill, Krystine Albright, Richard “Rick” Ford and his wife Beverly, Paul Ford, and many nieces and nephews.  

                Funeral Services will be held December 16th, 2021 at 7:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until service time. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
