John Whitkanack Jr. passed away August 20th, 2019.

Born November 26th, 1933 to the late John and Amy (Vice) Whitkanack.

John married Patricia LaVonne (Parker) Whitkanack May 5th, 1958 and she survives.

John was a member of the Church of Christ in Cloverdale, a Navy veteran, retired Air Traffic Controller Specialist, and a farmer.

He is also survived by his son John Whitkanack III and his wife Monica; daughters Cindy Burnham and Susan Winsted; grandchildren Heather Wagoner, Brandy Garske, Nikki Whitkanack, Shelby Winsted; great-grandchildren Taylor and Sydney Wagoner, Eli and Logan Garske, Laney and Emma Pieper; sisters Barbara Kay, Beverly and Virginia.

Funeral services for John will be at 11:00 am Friday August 23rd, 2019 at Whitaker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday August 22nd, 2019 at the funeral home.
