Obituary
Helen M. Sutherlin, age 90 formally of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord July 23rd, 2023. She was born in Lebanon, Virginia August 25th, 1932 to the late Hobert and Hazel (Dickenson)Gibson. She married Ralph “Vinerd” Sutherlin Jr. and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and a true matriarch of the family always making sure everyone around her was taken care of. She was a member of the Cloverdale Nazarene Church as well as in Ladoga.
She is survived by her daughter Shirley Harsh and husband Ronald of Crawfordsville, her son William “Bill” and Kathleen Sutherlin of Crawfordsville. Grandchildren, Jason Wells, Drew Sutherlin, and three Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Howard Gibson. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Lillian Wheeler, Hines Gibson, and Kenneth Gibson.
Funeral Services for Helen will be held Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at 1:00pm at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
