Heather M. Gerlach

Heather M. Gerlach, age 45 of Greencastle, passed away August 27th, 2026.  She was born September 30th, 1980 in Indianapolis to James E. Gerlach and Denise L. Middleton and they survive.  Heather was a devoted mother, Putnam County’s favorite bartender, and a friend to many. 

In addition to her parents she is survived by her children, Nicklaus Gerlach, and Kaylie Polster.  Siblings, Brandon Mowery, and James Gerlach. 

Funeral Services for Heather will be Friday, September 4th, 2026 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfunerals.net.
