Donnabelle (McCabe) Stanley

Donnabelle (McCabe) Stanley 89, formerly of Greencastle, Indiana passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on May 31, 2020. She was born on April 21, 1931 In Lizton, Indiana.

She was a devoted wife for 71 years to Alan Stanley who preceded her in death in January 2020. She was a loving mother to three daughters, Linda Wall, Brenda Rabold and Maria Helton and a fantastic, fun loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.

During her 60 plus years as a resident of Greencastle, Donna was active in many social and philanthropic organizations including Civic League, PEO, Kappa Delta Phi, Home Ec Club, Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was also active in the First Christian Church and a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Stanley, her three son-in-law, Jim Wall, Richard Rabold and David Helton.

In lieu o flowers, donations can be made to the Putnam County Humane Society or the Greencastle Summer Music Festival Through the Putnam County Foundation.
