Don Victor Staley

Don V. Staley, of Clay City, passed away Sunday, June 7th, 2020.

 He was born October 10th, 1937 in Clay City to the late Earl and Helen (Orman) Staley.

  Don married Jane K. Staley on September 29th, 1962 and she preceded him in death February 18th, 2016. He was a devoted member and previous elder of the Clay City Church of Christ, a former member of the Lions Club, Clay City USA, and the Clay City Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a Veteran of The United States Air Force.

He is survived by his daughters Cris Schuck and husband Dave, Clay City. Carrie Holmes and husband Trent, Bedford. Cathy Ames and husband Matt, Terre Haute, and six grandchildren, Patrick and his wife Kendall, Logan, Libbie, Maddie, Dawson, and Cooper. He is also survived by his sister Wilma Jean Hughes.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13th,2020 at the Clay City Church of Christ at 1:00pm. Visitation will be Saturday, from 11:00am until the service time of 1:00pm at the church.
