Dean Mattingly Obituary

Dean M. Mattingly, age 74 of Cloverdale Passed away January 1st, 2023.

He was born December 24th, 1948 in Perryville, MO to the late Marvin and Thelma (Moll) Mattingly.

Dean was a long time over the road truck driver most of his life. He absolutely LOVED Animals. His beautiful horse Cody and his dog Georgia were so special to him. Dean loved all of his family and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be so missed by all of us. I would like to thank his good friends Dave and Jimmy, his special friend Rene for all they have done and for always being there for him when family could not be. We all love and miss you already.

Dean is survived by his son William Mattingly; sisters Joan Bullard of Odell, IL, Monna (Jim) Ulfers of Watseka, IL; brother Russell (Ann) Mattingly of Cloverdale, IN.

In addition to his parents Dean is preceded in death by his ex-wife Susan Mattingly; son Johnny Mattingly; sister Sally Hillard; brother Daniel Mattingly. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
