Obituary

David Lee Hodge, age 70 of Cloverdale, passed away August 17, 2023.  He was born in Greencastle, Indiana June 22, 1953 to the late Estil and Freda (Haines) Hodge.  A lifelong resident of the Belle Union area, he graduated from Eminence High School in 1971.  He married Jennifer (French) Hodge October 19, 1974 and she survives.

While logging millions of miles as a truck driver, his true happiness was being with friends and family. A devoted Mopar fan, David, also known as “Superbee”, was proud to show off his Dodge truck at car shows and just cruising around.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Michael (Natalie) Hodge of Greencastle, Wayne (Jannifer) Hodge, of Cloverdale, and Mechele Hodge of Plainfield.  Four grandchildren, Jaxon Hodge, Catherine Hodge, Kaley Hodge, and Caroline Hodge.  A granddaughter, Kylee Hodge, also preceded him in death.
