Obituary

Beverly A. Fisher, 82, Clermont, FL, formerly of Cloverdale, died August 20, 2023 at Apopka Health Center, Apopka, FL. Born Feb. 17, 1941 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Jewell K. and Eugenia “Sue”(Goebel) Branneman.

A graduate of Cloverdale High School, she had been a member of Amity Baptist Church, Cloverdale, and South Lake Presbyterian Church, Clermont, FL.

She retired from IBM after 30 years of service. She had a passion for reading and in retirement was a volunteer at the Cooper Memorial Library in Clermont, and also the Helen Lehmann Memorial Library in Montverde, FL.

She married Thomas H. Fisher on Nov. 4, 1967. He died Apr. 11, 1993.

Surviving are her nieces, Ginny (Mann) Darden and husband Eric, Clermont, FL, and Anna (Mann) Terry and husband Lance, Greencastle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Barbara L. Mann, and brother-in-law Gordon J. Mann.

The family will have private graveside services at Cloverdale Cemetery. Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, has been entrusted with the arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
