Betty L. Simmons

Betty L. Simmons, 83 of Greencastle passed away April 30th, 2019.

Born November 21st, 1935 to the late Juddy and Ruth (Robinson) French.

Betty married William Simmons June 18th, 1955 and he preceded her in death September 4th, 2014.

She is survived by her daughters Juleena (Randy) Cox, and Kelly (Tommy) Dirickson; grandchildren Tyler (Tiffany) Cox, Kory Dirickson, Tiffani (Andy) O’Hair, Kody (Trinity Brown) Dirickson, Tessa Cox; great-grandchildren Keaton Dirickson, Ali Dirickson, Addison O’Hair, Kyleigh Cox, Justin O’Hair; sisters Marlene Alexander and Reta Gill.

She is also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Delilah Dirickson; sisters Golda Mae Lewis and Leoma Hornback; brothers Leon French and Frankie French.

 Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
