Vernon Eugene Dickerson

Vernon E. Dickerson, age 78 of Cloverdale, passed away February 24th, 2019.  He was born on July 30th, 1940.  He was the son of Wiley and Nellie Dickerson.  He is survived by his wife Kathy Dickerson and they were married for 42 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Larry Dickerson and wife Tammy.  Daughters, Kelly Stiver and husband Kenny, Penny Goldsmith, and Kay Walker.  He had 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.  Also, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. 

Gene was loved and admired by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 1:00pm, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
