Shirley Hicks Obituary

Shirley Ann Hicks, age 79 of Greencastle, went to be with the Lord September 6th, 2018.

Shirley was born December 22nd, 1938 in Pine Knot, Kentucky to Porter and Maude (Gilreath)Stephens.

She married Bobby G. Hicks January 4th, 1964 and he preceded her in death May 15th, 2004.

Shirley is survived by her children Debbie Alex and husband Gary, Ed Hicks and wife Michelle, David Hicks and wife Dawn, and Linda Hicks and fiancée Daniel Bullard. Eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Siblings Ray Merrell Stephens, Joyce Napier, and Ruth Ball.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings Pernie Ross, Lois Dunigan, and Edna Vanover.

Visitation will be Monday, September 10th, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
