Sandra Cecile Whitaker, 79, of Staunton, IL, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 29, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Leitchfield, IL.
Born May 28, 1938 in Peru, IN to the late Elmer Whitaker and Mary Farlow.
Sandra did all areas of nursing; hospital nursing, management, private duty nursing, home health and Teaching in a nursing school and loved all of it. She helped with meals on wheels, played the saxophone in the municipal band and adopted all stray cats.
She is survived by her brother David Whitaker.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:30pm, Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale, Indiana.
