Kenneth V. Nees

Kenneth V. Nees, passed away on the morning of January 10th, 2019 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

He was born November 1st, 1933 in Poland, IN to the late Hugh and Verna Nees. He attended Poland Elementary School and Brazil High School. After high school, he was a member of the US Army in the 4th Armored Division stationed at Fort Hood, TX.

He Co-owned the Poland Hardware Store with his brother Wayne for 20 years.

He was a friend to many and happily served members of his community for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings.

He is survived by his wife Diana, his 4 daughters Susan Flater, Sandy (Ron) Glasscock, Sara (Paul) Pfost, Sharla (Brad) Hobbs, his 10 grandchildren; Amie (Chris), Jake, Jessica, Jarad (Melodie), Kaylea, Ross (Lacie), Tyler, Jordan, Shiloh, and Jonah, 10 great-grandchildren, and Siblings Norma McDonald, Wayne (Roberta) Nees, Pat Reberger, Robert (Gloria) Nees, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pmTuesday, January 15th, 2019 at Poland Chapel Cemetery.
