Juanita Virginia (Johnson) Meek

Juanita Virginia Meek, 87 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord, April 18, 2018.

Born March 26th, 1931 to the late Merle and Nina (Greene) Johnson.

Juanita married Claude Edmund Meek August 20th, 1961 and he preceded her in death October 5th, 2016.

Juanita is survived by her children, Debra Meek, Janet Whitman and her husband Greg, and Carl Meek and his wife Tammy; grandchildren Debra Jo Herrington and her husband Jason, Kayla Whitman, Lauren and Clayton Meek; and great-grandchild Alexis Herrington; brother Vaughn Johnson.

She is also preceded in death by her infant sister Gwendolyn Elizabeth Johnson.

Funeral services for Juanita will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be Friday, April 20th, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Putnam County Community Foundation: Cloverdale FFA Alumni Scholarship.
