Janet Lynn (Walton) Hunter

Janet Lynn Hunter (Walton) passed peacefully in her home surrounded by those she loved on February 15, 2019.

Janet was a Cloverdale resident most of her life. She graduated Cloverdale high School in 1978.

Janet was a caregiver to many families in the Cloverdale area. She spent the past 10 years working as a housekeeper at Econo Lodge, where she viewed her co-workers as a second family. Janet was a beautiful, kind woman who cared for others, she will e deeply missed by all who had the honor to know her. She is survived by her husband of thirty-nine years Gary Hunter; her daughter and son in law Heather and Greg Bailey; her brother David Walton; her nieces and nephews Chrissy Walton, Kenny Walton and Trevor Feller; great nephews Blaze Neal, Kaine White and Truman Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Walton; mother Helen Walton, brothers Donald Parton and Paul Walton; sister Kent “Sue” Walton.

A celebration of life will be held at her home at a later date. In lieu of flowers Janet asked that monetary donations be made in her honor to the Putnam County Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
