Helen G. Carroll, 101 of Greencastle went to be with the Lord, April 3rd, 2018.

Born August 25th, 1916 to the late Ballard and Fannie (Carter) Hall.

Helen married Ray Carroll October 30th, 1937 and he preceded her in death January 4th, 1996.

Helen was a former administrator at the Cloverdale Nursing Home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being with family.

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Redcliffe; granddaughter Leanne (Tim) Lawless; great-grandchildren Jeremy (Angela) Lawless, Nathaniel (Ashley) Lawless, Joshua (Christen) Lawless; great-great-grandchildren LilliAnn Lawless, Deegan Lawless, Phoenix Lawless, Sophia Lawless; Sister Thelma Vickery, FL; brothers Bobbie Jack Hall, TN, Luster Hall, SC; daughter-in-law Judy Carroll.

She is also preceded in death by her son Jerry Lee Carroll; son-in-law Larry Redcliffe.

A Graveside service for Helen will be at 3:30 pm Friday April 6th, 2018 at New Providence Cemetery. Visitation will from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday at Whitaker Funeral Home Cloverdale. Online condolences may be sent to the family at whitakerfuneralhome.net
