Emma J. (Collier) Arnold

Emma Jane Arnold, 85 of Quincy, went to be with the Lord July 21st, 2018. She was born on March 8th, 1933, in Morgan County to the late Thomas and Ruby (Fulford) Collier. She married Everett L. Arnold at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church March 24th, 1951, and he survives. Emma Jane was a busy farm wife and full-time homemaker on their grain and livestock farm in Putnam County.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children Larry (Marji) Arnold, Richard Arnold, Michael (Cathy) Arnold, Timothy (Cheryl) Arnold, and Kevin (Lisa) Arnold. Eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Siblings Leslie Collier, and Maurice “Fred” Collier.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Norma Lund, and Wanda Weekly.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 at 2:00pm at Whitaker Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time. Burial and the family’s ceremony will follow at Mannan Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
