Christine Louise Lane

Christine Louise Lane, age 80 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord September 29th, 2018.  She was born June 6th, 1938 in Wilkinsburg, PA to Frederick and Christine (Taylor)Maughan.

Chris enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Missy and Maggie.  She so enjoyed coffee on her porch while watching the birds.  Chris especially loved cooking and baking for friends and family as well as spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens.

She is survived by her children Debbie(Ken) White, Greencastle, Larry(Cindy) Simpson, Cloverdale.  David(Sheila) Simpson, Rushville, and Lori Hoffman, Chambersburg, PA.  Five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  Also, her sister Lorraine Defazio.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas P. Lane, and brother Freddy Maughan.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00pm, October 1st, 2018, at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be from 3:00pm until service time.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
