Carolyn S. Scott

Carolyn S. Scott, age 82 of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 27th, 2018.  She was born May 20th, 1936 in Putnam County to the late Rolla and Alice Mildred Cooksey.  She married Arthur L. Scott June 26th, 1954 and he survives.  She was a member of Amity Baptist Church and involved with the Eastern Star, and she was a wonderful cook, according to everyone that sat at her table.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Randy(Debby) Scott, Eric(Sherri)Scott, Michele(Dennis)Padgett, Bryan Scott, Douglas(Dale)Scott. Six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and seven great step-grandchildren.  Siblings Rhonda(Hank)Stinson, and Arlene(Sonny)Ooley. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 3rd, 2019 at 11:00am, Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.  Visitation will be Wednesday January 2nd, 2019, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.  Condolences may be made at www.whitakerfuneralhome.net.
