Hutchison Born on: April 11, 1918 Departed on: March 24, 2010 Visitation: March 27, 2010 at 4:00 pm Service: March 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Elmdale, Indiana Beulah Inez [Petty] Hutchison, 91, passed away March 24, 2010, at 11:45 PM at the Putnam County Hospital. She was born on April 11, 1918 in Coles County, Illinois and was the daughter of William Ervin and Bessie Jane [Davis] Petty. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School, member of the New Providence Baptist Church, Greencastle and a homemaker. She married Chester W. Hutchison, Sr. on April 30, 1934 and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2000. Together they raised their family in Montgomery County and Cloverdale, Indiana. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend to many. Her favorite hobby was creating and painting ceramic pieces for family and friends. She also liked to make porcelain dolls and making clothes for them. She is survived by her children, Chitra Jeffries, Brazil, Charity [Nick] Vanlandingham, Spartan, TN and Jessie Ervin [Vera] Hutchison, Cloverdale, her sister, Marguerite Plunkett, Crawfordsville, 17 grandchildren, Ric [Linda] Jeffries, Kent [Debbi] Jeffries, Debbie [James] Zimmerman, Brent Jeffries, Jon [Cindy] Jeffries, Miranda Jeffries, Bryan [Laura] Vanlandingham, Greg [Cathy] Vanlandingham, David Vanlandingham, Shelly [Michelle] Hutchison, Kim [Jeff] Ripple, Mark [Lori] Hutchison, Trey Hutchison, Lanette [Gary] Collier, Doug [Lori] Hutchison, Karen [Brad] Jellison and Rodney [Leslie] Hutchison, 39 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Irene Allen, Ruby Rush and brother, Leonard Petty; son, Chester W. Hutchison, Jr., granddaughter, Konya McGaughey and son-in-law, Tony Jeffries. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery at Elmdale, Indiana.
