He was born on July 4, 1962 in Indianapolis and was the son of David William Johnson and Joyce Ann [Duncan] Johnson. He was an artist, member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle and a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved spending time with his family and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Joyce Johnson, Cloverdale, son, Jerry Grimes, Evansville, sisters, Pam Bowman and husband Jamie, Greencastle and Angie Haltom and husband Rob, Quincy, brothers, Keith Johnson and wife Lori, Quincy, Greg Johnson and wife Karen, Santa Claus and David Johnson and wife Ja-Deen, Greenwood, twelve nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle, with Father Stephen Jarrell officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Interment will be in the Mannan Cemetery.
