Eleanor Marie Jordan Born on: July 16, 1921 Departed on: December 17, 2009 Visitation: December 18, 2009 at 4:00 pm Service: December 19, 2009 at 11:00 am Burial: Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale, Indiana Eleanor Marie Jordan, 88, Greencastle, IN and formerly of Gosport, IN, passed away on December 17, 2009 at the Mill Pond Health Campus at Greencastle. She was born on July 27, 1921 at Catlin, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary [Felgenhauer] Brooks. She married Max E. Jordan on May 6, 1943 and he preceded her in death on February 6, 2008. She was a help mate to her husband and very active in her church and was a member of the Cloverdale Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery. She is survived by her children; Jeane Knapp and husband Tom, Georgetown, IL, Janice Williamson and husband Jimmy, Sellersburg, IN, Kaye Huber and husband Carroll, Cloverdale and Darrell W. Jordan and wife Kathy, Cloverdale; sister, Evelyn Bonomo, Georgetown, IL and brother Glen Brooks and wife Nellie, Catlin, IL, 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
