Paul Leroy Allen Born on: January 19, 1938 Departed on: December 12, 2009 Visitation: December 15, 2009 at 4:00 pm Service: December 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm Burial: Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale, Indiana Paul Leroy Allen, 71, Tonganoxie, KS formerly of Greencastle, passed away on December 12, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born on January 19, 1938 in Putnam County, Indiana and was the son of the late Paul M. and Mary Alice [Cline] Allen. He married Shirley A. Burnham on September 17, 1960 and she survived. He was a retired truck driver for Schwerman at Greencastle and a member of Moose Lodge # 1592 at Greencastle. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He is also survived by his children, Robin Kay Lawson, Tonganoxie, KS, Kelly Sue Urton and husband Brent, Reelsville, Candice Childress and husband Tommy, Greencastle, Douglas Leroy Allen and wife Sandra, Centerpoint, Timothy Lee Allen and wife Julie, Hillsdale; sister, Evelyn Vera Perkins and husband Marvin, Cory; grandchildren, Greg Lawson, Jamie Lawson, Robbie Urton, Emily Urton, Nicole Allen, Kayleigh Allen, Nicholas “Bub” Allen, Cody Allen, Nicki Wilson, Lance Partin; great-grandchildren, Taylor Lawson, Lauren Lawson, Kelsea Lawson, Nicholas Lawson, Mika Hayes, Mariah Fikes, Shyonna Partin and Emeliana Partin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Murial [Fields] Allen, sister, Ruth Eaglin, grandchildren, Kyle Allen, Ashley Allen, Kendra Allen and son-in-law, Lenny Lawson.
