He was born on April 18, 1933 in Knox County, Kentucky and was the son of the late George and Susan Elizabeth “Sudie” Brock. He married Phyllis Yeadon on January 8, 1959 and she survives. He was an assembly line worker for Westinghouse Air Brake in Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Shumaker Cemetery at Eminence. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Brock, Cloverdale, daughters, Pam Trisler and husband Forrest, Gosport, Libby Catt and husband Arnold, Eminence, Beverly Perry and husband Mark, New Ross; sons, Randy S. Brock and wife Judy, Martinsville, Tracy J. Brock and wife Kim, Martinsville; sisters, Mary Farmer, Plainfield, Betty Griffin and husband Arthur, Gosport, Pauline Lones and husband William A. Jr., Gosport, Martha Schram and husband Gene, Fishers; brothers, Marshall Brock and wife Barbara, Martinsville, Fount “Tom” Brock and wife Nancy, Greencastle, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Lloyd Brock and brothers, Frank Brock, Johnny Brock and Elmer Brock.
