Rubendall, 97, Cloverdale, passed away on September 12, 2009 at the Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle. He was born on September 23, 1911 at Dixon, Illinois and was the son of the late Harry and Ida [Spiker] Rubendall. He was married to Alesa Enice [Wyman] Rubendall on June 13, 1936 and she preceded him in death on March 29, 1991. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 12:00 PM [Noon] at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM [Noon] on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery. He was a supervisor for N. G. Gilbert and had also been employed at Beverage Paper Company and Cloverdale High School as a custodian. He is survived by his children – Pam R. Wade and husband Jim, Quincy, Neal C. Rubendall and wife Kathleen “Kitty”, Noblesville; sister – Sylvia Harris, Wittenberg, WI, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
