He was born on May 30, 1920 at Cloverdale, Indiana and was the son of the late Frederick Arthur and Freeda Jane [McCammack] Sinclair. He was married to Viola Lorene [Ramsey] Sinclair, in 1942 and she preceded him in death on May 28, 2008. He was a member of the Cloverdale Church of Christ, Masonic Lodge # 440, F. & A. M., Eminence, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite and the Murat Temple of A. A. O. M. S., Indianapolis. He was retired from Sales and Marketing for Standard Oil, a pilot and aircraft mechanic and a farmer. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Bro. A. J. Cox officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Masonic Memorial Services at 7:30 PM. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery at Cloverdale. He is survived by his daughters – Donna Jean Mercer and husband Duane C., Eminence and Pamela Kay Patrick and husband Dr. Otis H., Quincy; brother – Curtis L. Sinclair and wife Lucille, Cloverdale; granddaughter – Jaime Lynn Patrick, Eminence and great-granddaughter – Violette Kay Patrick, Eminence.
