Meridian, Indiana Robert Louis Sutherlin, 85, Mt. Meridian, passed away on July 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born on June 17, 1924 at Greencastle, Indiana and was the son of Andrew Forest and Ethel Ladona [Langdon] Sutherlin. He was married to Mildred [Mitchell] Sutherlin, on April 28, 1945 and she survives. He was a farmer and attended the Bellville Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Roger L Sutherlin and Gordon Reed Sutherlin officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Methodist Cemetery at Mt. Meridian. He is survived by his wife Mildred Sutherlin, children – Teresa Lynn Parker and husband Rusty, Dover, AR, Roger L Sutherlin and wife Paula Kay, Mt. Meridian, Gordon Reed Sutherlin and wife Cynthia, Beebe, AR; sister – Jeretta Brown, Lizton, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter – Luanne Golden on November 20, 2007; sisters – Martha Goode and Norma Craig.
