[Romine] Lutz. She was married to Hicklen A. Gurney, Jr. on July 15, 1958 and he passed away on June 6, 2009. She was a homemaker and a cook. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 8:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the funeral home. I She is survived by her children – Dawn K. Handwork and husband Keith, Jennifer L. Jost & husband Eugene C., Allen Gurney, Steven M. Gurney, Dennis L. Gurney, Gene Gurney and wife Vicki and James P. Gurney and wife Shannon; sisters – Uylanda Bixler, Creola Frazier; brother – Kenny Lutz, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters – Kimberly Ann and Debra Sue Gurney; sisters – Beverly Jane Nichols, Patricia Ann Jones; brothers – Vernon Charles Lutz, Forest Earl Lutz and Harold Robert Lutz.
