Crawley, 86, Indianapolis formerly of Poland, passed away on June 1, 2009 at the Hendricks Regional Health at Danville. She was born on October 20, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Perry O’Dell and Nellie Grace (Hunsicker) Sendmeyer. She was married to Lenox Charles “Nick” Crawley on October 11, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 11, 1987. She was a homemaker. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale, with Rev. John Nees officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery. She is survived by her sister – Beulah Mae Lewis, Connersville, brother-in-law – Eugene P. Crawley, Indianapolis, several nieces and nephews including Jackie Hays, Sandra Nees, Stephen Sendmeyer, Sandra McGraw, Diana Lewis, Anna Mienecke, Floyd Glen Sendmeyer, Crystal Allison, Linda Hockman, Carol Squire, Stan Pence, Mike Pence, Randy Sendmeyer, Rodney Sendmeyer, Robin Morris and Rhonda Rhodes. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister – Veneta Meyers; brothers – Roy, Virgil, Russell O’Dell and Herschel Sendmeyer.
