Booe, 73, Greencastle, formerly of Putnamville, passed away on May 12, 2009 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle. She was born on December 29, 1935 at Clay City, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Russell and Floy Lenora [Oberholtzer] Funk. She was married to Lloyd W. Booe on January 2, 1955 and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2001. She was a homemaker and a cook at the Reelsville Elementary School. She was a member of the Big Walnut Baptist Church, Reelsville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Mike Goss officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Bowling Green, Indiana. She is survived by her children: Becky Kinney and husband Curt S., Poland; Rick W. Booe and wife Susie, Manhattan and Brad Booe and wife Candy, Mt. Meridian and 7 grandchildren.
