Strange, 74, Poland, passed away on May 7, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Greencastle, Indiana on October 8, 1934 and was the son of the late Fred Oscar and Stella Louise [Gentry] Strange. He was the founder and minister of the Country Junction Mission and Galilee Church Ministry at Poland. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion and Veteran’s of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his daughter – Barbara Lowery, Crawfordsville; sister – Margaret Killingbeck, Greencastle; brothers – Charles Strange, Dalton, GA and Paul Strange, Greenville, SC, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister – Mary Strange and 3 brothers – Roy, Donald and Woodrow Strange. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Cloverdale Cemetery, Cloverdale, IN, with Pastor Tom Tackett officiating. There will be no visitation.
