Funkhouser, 76, Cloverdale, passed away on May 4, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 31, 1932 and was the son of the late William Louis and Vethia May [Meek] Funkhouser. He was a retired salesman from P. R. Mallory in Indianapolis. He married Nancy [Jennings] Funkhouser and she survives. Also surviving are his step-children; Susan Vandivier, Mark Vandivier and Doug Vandivier; sister – Jane Ann Rice and 3 step- grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
