He was born in Michigan City, Indiana on August 29, 1949 and was the son of the late John and Millie Heichel. He married Shirley K. Williamson on May 22, 1993 and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Doris J. Beauchamp, Indianapolis; Shar Lee Beauchamp, Indianapolis and Ricky Wayne Beauchamp, Michigan City; sister-in-law, Frances Adams, and brother-in-law, Carl Williamson, both of Indianapolis and 11 grandchildren. He attended the Warren Park Wesleyan Church in Indianapolis. He was truck driver and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 from 12:00 PM [noon] to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
