He was born in Hialeah, Florida on December 17, 1951 and was the son of Raymond Hardwell Jackson, Sr. and Anna [Stift] Jackson. He was a member of the Christian Scientist Church and was employed as a maintenance man on heavy equipment. He is survived by his children, Tara Ellen Anice Gardner of Fillmore, Taulbee Ray Jackson of Cloverdale and 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Anna Stift of Brugaw, North Carolina and his sister, Janice Lorraine Strojie of Sanford, Florida. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Cloverdale Cemetery. Visitations will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
