Runyan, 83, Greencastle, passed away on June 1, 2010 at The Waters at Greencastle. She was born on September 16, 1926 in Putnam County and was the daughter of the late Ross and Dessie Myrtle [Smith] Hood. She was married to Dallas Finis Runyan on March 17, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1990. She was a member of the Greencastle Church of Christ and was retired from the food service staff at DePauw University. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:30 AM at the New Providence Cemetery, Belle Union, with Bro. Charles M. Sebree officiating. Visitation will be private. Interment will be in the New Providence Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Sherry Langwell and husband Jerry, Debra Campbell and Jerry Runyan and wife Kathy, sisters, Wanda Lee Wagner and Edith Marie Clements, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Emogene Hood, Florence Irene Scotten, Mable Ileene Cole, Mary Rose Moore, brother, Melvin Hood and granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Langwell.
