Harold G. Haase 91, Paragon, passed away on May 14, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove, IN. He was born on May 22, 1918 in Morgan County and was the son of the late Harold Guy and Roxie Jane {Stivers} Haase.
He was married to Louise M. {Atwood} Haase and she preceded him in death on September 26, 1999.
He was a farmer and member of the Gosport Baptist Church, Past Master and 50 year member of Masonic Lodge # 92, F. & A. M., Gosport, V. F. W., Martinsville and American Legion Post # 230, Martinsville. He was a WW II veteran having served U. S. Army in the North African Campaign.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, Whitaker Chapel, Gosport, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Masonic Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
He is survived by his son Arthur Harold Haase and wife Robin, Vincennes, step-daughter, Mina Janette Brown, Midwest City, OK, 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his step-daughters, Betty Lou Asher and Patty Ann Bowers and his brothers, Henry Malcolm Haase and Edwin Haase.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to The Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
